What a weird race :D For the first 80km I played a role of Laurie’s ‘Domestique’ but eventually I was a shitty one because I dropped her. :D Sorry Laurie :D

Then I got into a group where no-one was willing to participate so I went on the solo breakaway. It didn’t last long though because I was caught up by some strong guys in full French kits (Pros?). So I hopped on their wheels and boy now the race was truly on. Didn’t contribute at all but hey at least they didn’t drop me :D Thanks guys!

All in all a lot of fun. I’d argue that it was even more fun than sticking to the main peleton as I did during first 80km - I probably would have arrived averaging 40km/h but would have been bored to death because some time trial dudes were doing all the work.
