Day #21 - Diamond Lake to Crescent Creek pt. 1
Again I misclicked and saved the activity too earlyโฆ
Today was awesome! I could have either taken the highway with trucks or cut through the hills and forests by going ~40km on gravel. Of course I chose gravel and have zero regrets. Super technical and I struggled to stay upright plenty of times but a lot of fun nonetheless! Waaaay harder than what I did with Anna in Tuscany on the Strade Bianche - gravel here was significantly more loose and equally tricky to ride both up and downhill. On the uphills I was sinking in and loosing traction all the time while on the downhills I had problems with corners. ๐
I passed by a friendly group of PCT hikers and even friendlier group of dirt bikers with a support car operated by Marcus, a Swiss-American. Ended up bumping onto each other on the entire length of Windhook Pass and even ended up at the same restaurant. Thanks again for the lunch Marcus, I really appreciate it!
Just a guy touring on his bike across the world and getting progressively broke. Should you wish to help me out and fuel few kilometers of my ride please paypal.me/MPaluchowski. Any sort of help is greatly appreciated.
