Canadaaaaaaa! 🇨🇦 Instead of a welcome jug of maple syrup at the border I got a series of questions but hey I don’t blame them - I’d be suspicious as well if a guy on a bike showed up on this border crossing. Greatly disappointed with the way I was routed today by Komoot. That’s a one big strike. One more and I am switching back to Strava heat maps. On top of that I also made it really challenging for myself by assuming it’s gonna be flat 70k while it was hilly 120k. It mentally drained me when I realize the mistake plus the heavy traffic did not help either so I had zero motivation to pedal at all. But hey I made it to Vancouver! Looking forward to exploring the city, recovering a bit and going for a ride with Sunil. :) Let’s see what North Van has to offer (spoiler alert - mountains). 😬
